Since its foundation more than 120 years ago, our company has evolved into a specialist in high-quality vehicle springs in OEM quality.

We have accompanied the history of the automobile and its innovations in the chapter on springs. Starting in 1887 the founders Kraemer & Freund manufactured their first coach springs in Hagen. In 1911 the first leaf springs for the automotive sector were produced, and since 1973 we have also sold coil springs as an extension of our product range.

Today the product portfolio of Kraemer & Freund comprises more than 5,000 leaf, parabolic and special springs for utility vehicles as well as coil springs for all standard passenger cars. Thanks to our products, which are largely designed in Germany, we are a spring supplier respected throughout the world. A part of the BILSTEIN Group, and thus of the ThyssenKrupp group of companies, we put our stake in our technological edge in the springs segment – and in extraordinary quality.
